First start a server using your own computer and lock it. This makes getting the images easier.
Once you have a map loaded
open your console and type(cheats must be enabled):
sv_cheats 1          <------   turn cheats on
cl_drawhud 0                <---------  removes  ammo,health,ect..
r_drawothermodels 0      <-------    removes your weapon
noclip <name>         <----  used if you do not want only images taken from ground level.

Now either noclip or run threw your map taking pic's (10 to 15 should be good).
now close out your game.

goto the screen shots folder for the game.
if they are in TGA format convert them to JPG.

Now download this tool for converting mass amounts of images to another size.
http://sourceforge.net/projects/phototoysclone/

now create a folder on your desktop , call it anything you like.
paste all of your converted TGA to JPG files to this directory you just named.

Now highlight all the JPG and right click then click "Resize Pictures"
In the next window click the advanced button and check the DOT next to Custom , and fill in the boxs with 160 by 120
Now hit OK.

Now download, install, and open:
http://www.mindworkshop.com/alchemy/gifcon.html
Once open click FILE then "Animation Wizard"
In the left window locate your folder with the images resized (160x120)
in the center window select the pic's you want to use by press SHIFT and mouse clicking each pic you want to add.
Once you have selected your images, press "ADD" at the top of the window. Now the images will have moved over to the right window.
In the top left is Delay: this is used to slow your cycle of the pic's. i set mine between 500 and 700.
Now click build at the top and give it a moment. Once it's finished save the file as the map name.gif.

I have noticed when i upload the images the file extension is changed to upper case "GIF". This needs to be changed to lower case "gif"
this can be easily done by uploading your file, then threw the ftp ot will allow you to change the file extension.

Ahh ty..
Something i thought about but haven't tried.
Is... record a demo and convert it to gif.

I'm sure fraps would work.

Editted:

Here is a demo recorded with fraps and converted, resized. draw back the only converter i found to convert avi to gif has there watermark on it due to not being registered.
