I just thought I'd clear this up as the few times I have reinstalled my site I have come back here because I forgot to back up the correct file and I can never remember whos method works

bdangols first post worked for me I just copied and pasted his line into my php file.

None of Garyts efforts worked although maybe it depends on version etc so if one doesn't try the other I guess thanks all anyway.
