Any ideas how to get this working? I am sure I can do a map pack, but not sure which protocol to use.

this may help
http://qstat.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/qstat/trunk/qstat2/bfbc2.c?view=markup, it includes the challange key at least (thx steve).

from some googleing i figured that 19567 should be the default connect, and 48888 the default queryport, that´s however not 100% confirmed, i couldn´t find any proper documentation about it :/

i had a quick look on the lgsl_protocol, but it´s still a little above than my actual PHP knowlage (not sure where to add the new challange part)

but i think the other infos might help richard or some other people to get BFBC2 support added soon

I am constantly faced with having to chose between playing new games or spend time coding for them, and the former usually wins out.

The protocol is new, so will take time and testing, but I am slowly working on BFBC2 support

Thanks for all the hard work Rich, trust me I understand. I run all the servers and website for our clan, hardly have time to play. I will shoot you another donation though, once you get BC2 working. I hate having to rely on Gametracker. Ugh, much prefer LGSL.

When you get some free time, feel free to come frag with us. Server name is "The Killing Crew [Recruiting] NO Killcam" for our servers name.

I have updated the public beta with Bad Company support.

Unzip and put this file in your LGSL_FILES folder, over-writing the original.
http://www.greycube.com/help/lgsl_beta/lgsl_protocol.zip

Some things to note:

- The query port ( default 48888 ) is TCP not UDP.
- The game does not provide player information.
- The game does not say if the server is passworded.

There have been numerous other changes so left me know if I have broken something.

DiCE desided to use uncommon mapnames.

for example the game will show mp_001 for Panama Canal.

the mapimages you can find here

Hi Perry,

I've updated the protocol that you posted and after i get this message "LGSL PROBLEM: INVALID TYPE '193.93.45.161' FOR 29900, 16567, 0, b"

This are the standard settings that are working with the old protocol.

I haven't added the BC2 server this is just from the 3 BF2 servers we own.

BTW. Thanks for providing this great tool

You must have an old version of LGSL.

You need to start with LGSL 5.7 and then drop in the updated protocol..

you have to ask to your server company the number of the query port. For example mine is 10000.
Greetings.

http://brunz.eu/lgsl/ is running an old version.

Sometimes overwriting fails, backup then delete the folder, upload the 5.7 files.
