Hi all

Great feature this one...congrats.

I have a website that we focus in rFactor Tournaments. So far i had no issues in installing and configure the app.

My doubt and issue is the following:

I have an internet network @ home all using same public IP. we're doin races thru a dyndns generated ip (to avoid ip renews, updates).

- created 2 dyndns ip one for one rfactor instalation and the other for other one....in clonclusion to have 2 servers open

Problem is that it recognizes the same ip...does anyone know how to solve this!?

Thanks a lot

You use different ports to separate the servers.

The defaults are:

Query Port Start="34297"
Port Start="34397"

Edit the multiplayer.ini on one of the servers and set:

Query Port Start="34298"
Port Start="34398"

Then make sure your router has the correct 'Port Forwarding' for the new ports.

Valid port numbers are 1025 to 65535, whatever you choose, keep the +100 difference between the 'Port' and the 'Query Port'.

Hey Rich

did as you said....

altered these ports in Multiplayer.ini (on the 2nd rF server):

Query Port Start="34298" // range is 1025 - 65535
Port Start="34398" // range is 1025 - 65535

...also forward these in my rooter:

*still when entering thru: mdr2.servegame.org:34398
it enters the game...but then says "timed out"

Thanks a lot

Are you sure your RFactor server is 192.168.1.1 ?

That is normally the routers IP.

The only thing I can suggest is check that the config is being applied. Run TCPView on your server:

http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb897437.aspx

And you should see the RFactor process open up the ports you set in the config.

Got this workin'

*needed to open different ports:
34298 | 34398 | 34448

...had all open minus the 34448

Thanks Rich
