Richard, the guestbook 3.2 is not showing all entries. Depending on how I put the setting for entrys per page, it skips showing a certain number of the last entries (or the first entered). I guess it is a loop/count error somewhere but I can not find it... pls help

I see that BJ has posted the same problem dec 06 with no answer, are you working on it or can't you reproduce the problem?

I do not have this issue with my own guestbook.

Please can you supply some more details.

- Are you using 0.617 or 0.7 ?

- Does this happen for whatever number of entries per page you set ( including 1 per page ) ?

- Did you upgrade from guestbook 2 or using a fresh install of guestbook 3 ?

- What version of PHP are you using ?

Hi Rich!

Here are my answers due to that I have the same problem.

- Are you using 0.617 or 0.7 ? - Using Version v0.617

- Does this happen for whatever number of entries per page you set ( including 1 per page ) ? - With 1 per page does all sohw, with 2 does the first entry dissaper.

- Did you upgrade from guestbook 2 or using a fresh install of guestbook 3 ? - Using a fresh install of guestbook 3 (uninstalled v2 and deleted all files before installing v3)

- What version of PHP are you using ? - PHP version 4.4.1

Im looking but still cannot find anything that looks wrong.

Could you take some screenshots of your guestbook showing the problem.

( and if possible a screenshot of phpMyAdmin with the guestbook table selected and ordered so the newest posts are first )

Here are some screenshots.

This one shows with 50 entries, so that all entry�s comes on only one page.
50 entries

This one shows with only 1 per page, still showing all entries.
1 per page

This one shows with 5 entries per page, here you can see that 2 first entries are not showing any more.

You have 27 entries, which requires 6 pages, yet it shows only links for 5.

I created 27 entries on my test guestbook but there was a page 6 shown O_o

Can you please rename your

/e107_handlers/np_class.php

Then unzip and upload this one instead:

To see if it fixes the problem.

When I use the np_class.php from you does all my menus at the rights side disappear along with the footer.

And in my guestbook does I only se the first side can�t browse around.

It�s still the same with the last one, page 6 won�t show in my guestbook. But all my menus and footer are working now.

Well that only leaves me with one last thing, that its not counting the guestbook entries correctly.

Please can you rename your

/e107_plugins/guestbook/index.php

And upload this one instead

It adds a small piece of text just about the page numbers saying how many entries are returned.

This is very puzzling and im running out of ideas.

Please can unzip this np_class.php

And put it in your e107_handlers folder in place of the existing one.
