Rich,
I should have known to check your site first! I was looking for a way to manage the signatures on the site. These billboard size sigs are messing with the site layout. I found your link on e107.org for the Excessive Signature Check hack you made, very nice. But before I go removing users sigs I wanted to ask is there a way to resize the overly large ones? I went snooping through some code but could not find it. I imagine that some css would do the trick. Any suggestions?

Glad you found it useful.

The problem is the signature just contains links and the images are hosted on an external site so you have no access to resize them.

Also since the images are loaded using bbcode, it would be very hard to fit in a width or height attribute to force the browser to resize them.

I found that people who have really wide signatures often dont realize its a problem because they are running 1600x1200 and everything looks small.

So I would just make sure you have the signature rules posted somewhere, so people know what they are allowed.

Thanks Rich.

By the way have you checked out the changes I made to my site yet?

BF2NOW

I hope you approve of the way I have used/changed your LGSL code. Under the BF2now search (if registered) you will see I still give you credit. Let me know if I am stepping on toes.

hi Rich, thanks for this useful script. I'd like to know if, by editing any code line, there is any way of allowing 2 images per-signature.
