The add/remove button for players is on the details page. Whenever someone (who is in the clan userclass) clicks on a particular war to see the details, there's a button where the player listing that says "add me". if that person is already on the roster, the "remove me" button is displayed.

In order to accept wars, the admin has to go into that war and click on the edit button at the top and change the status from "challenge" to "pending" at the bottom.
