What i want is to be able to have the gallery show only files from 2 areas
by name order A's first downwards

can you do it in the link bar??? by adding category numbers in it????

I want categorys 10 and 11 only to show if you get what I mean

please HELP

PS RICH i have a 100's of UPDATED mini map pics for NS DODS and CSS if you want them it takes a long time to make these and ive collected alot

And If Possible can you make it so when the image is clicked it goes to where files download area is instead of showing the main image on a new page >>> ???

Ive updated the Dallery plugin for you.

It now has the option for the thumbnail to go directly to the download, and you can now limit the categories shown.

just one more query though when its filtered by filename it does it from z-a and not a-z is there a quick way of fixing this?

Sure, edit the index.php and change:


ORDER BY download_name DESC


ORDER BY download_name ASC

Im wondering whether it would be worth adding a dropdown menu for this.

ok, since I was in the zone, I added the dropdown for the ordering, so just re-download dallery ( it has the same version number as before )

Hey rich nice addition BUT once you flip over a page it forgets that you nave mad a decision and flips back on to DESCENDING

I love your plugin!

I have a gaming download site that this fits perfect with.

When I click on a random picture or link it goes directly to that particular file's page on my site which is great, but it does so by opening a new IE window. Is there a way to have it open in the same IE window?

I figured it out. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Change the following in your dallery_menu.php and index.php:

<a rel='external' href='$link_path'> to <a rel='internal' href='$link_path'>

I have fall in love with your plugin.
there is a little, big problem!!!
It dose not show the name if the downloads in other non english languages.
I guset it becuase of UTF_8 chareter set or some thing like that?
can you do somthing for it.

It does not show the name at all or just not properly ?

Try editing the index.php and adding BELOW:


$LAN_DAL_THUMBNAIL_NAME   = $pref['dallery_showname'] ? "$mysql_row[download_name]<br />" : "";

The following line:


$LAN_DAL_THUMBNAIL_NAME = mb_convert_encoding($LAN_DAL_THUMBNAIL_NAME, "HTML-ENTITIES", "UTF-8");

I guess only I'm this idiot, but I can't figure out how this plugin works :S No matter where I copy pictures it shows no picture :-/
