RWar 2.0 Feature Requests

A complete redesign is in progress, there is no date for release so don't ask.

But here is my current list of things requested to be added:

Things requested future version of RWar

- Players - Status Yes / No / Maybe instead of just Yes.

- Players - Store in order of setting their status.

- Players - Option to add a comment with their status

- Players - Showing Display and Login Name

- Match - Timezone aware

- Match - Select Previous opponents

- Match - Detailed stats

- Match - BBCode enabled Info box

- Match - Confirmation when Deleting a War

- Index - Option for number of wars per page

- Index - Sortable columns

- Index - Filter options

- Menu - Multiple Menus with individual settings

- Menu - Easier to customise

- Email - More detailed, timezone setting aware, and customisable

- Email - More control when sent, and to include other status changes such as cancelation.

- All - Language File

Sweet - that's great news. Here's a couple ideas.

Cancel Email - What would be nice is if the plugin will send an email to the players whenever a war is canceled. Similar to how it sends the reminder email when the war is changed to "pending with players chosen".

Stats - I'm curious about what stats will be kept. Is going to be the stats for each map played or will it even get into detail to keep some basic player stats? I've really been interested in something that keeps track of both types of stats.

Cancel email has been added to the list.

Stats are going to be on a separate page, and will be kept simple for the first release, but I was thinking along the lines of the win, lose, draw, plus most played map, best map, worst map, most beaten opponent, most feared opponent, most used player.

Wars to be sorted by match type and for the wins losses to be added for example GRAW only and then another win loss ratio for Rainbow six. TY

Pull Down menu with previous used servers, with name and IP
Option on selecting multiple players from a box, instead of the pull down menu, with:
Select User > Click Update > Wait... > Wait... > Select User > Click Update > etc, etc...

With the match history, of previous played opponents, it would be nice, if it saved all contact info and such on the opponent, just an idea, unless that was the original idea

Also, an option where you can change opponents contact info.
Maps written into the database, when it's not an option in the drop down box, and you need to write it into box yourself

Sorry I don't know what's mean IMPO.
I try to make compact all tables, but not enought space to see all main information about war. Firts of all, clan members need easy to see all these informations. Sometime we have 10-15 wars and it take long place if I show one war informations in two rows.

Need some confirmation button when I push to delete war. Well be fine if ask me: "you want delete this war?"
Other think in admin need some check boxes witch informations I want to show on page. Now I cleared rows form program, but is not good solution.
I'm using Clan Information menu also and these use same language definitions "define("RST_". It's make conflict on home page. I told it to programmer of CIM (Bad_Dude), but he don't care.
I renamed all definitions in rwar to "R_RST_" in program also, but will be fine if you make it also.
Other think is a calendar. This icon is fine, but we have many wars, and sometime we can see anly "w" icons and no dates. Maybe better to integrate calendar to rwar menu and show some "*" next to number.

I have added 'delete confirmation' to the list.

Typing in the map name is only meant as a quick solution until you can add a map image.

Most of the other stuff is already on the list.

RWar 1.4 does not contain any language definitions, they were added in an unofficial version 1.5 which I did not make, so they may be originally from CIM.

An option that allows the admin to add "status"'es, such as what class people wants to play.
In my clan, Im tired of 5 heavies signing up for a match.
So, if I could get an option, where I can add a squad, and people could join that squad, or another squad that I make.

For an example:

Heavy Squad -
Jamie
Dale

Light Squad -
John
Volo
Bjorn

Sniper -
Paki

Standby Heavy -
Playername
Playername
Playername

Standby Light -
Playername
Playername

Standby Sniper -
Playername

I think you can make it like as on vwar, this is good system but old and have bugs.

Hi great little plugin!

Add a way to see how many people needed for each game e.g. (2/10) etc.

Hi,
i think it would be greate if there would be something like a 'Join Us' page within RWar.
I really miss this feature, because many guys that want to join my Clan a right searching for this. Or is there a other way to get such a Form?

So you click join us and then what ? You are still going to need to manually check them out ( I hope ) on a server for their ability and behavior.

Recommend you just make a link called join us which points to a forum section that people can post in with their details if they want to join the clan.

Actually adding them to the clan is simply a case of making their user account part of the correct user classes.

hm. i thought about the posibility to send an email to the admin for example with the forms the user filled out.

@Rich: Another thing I thinked of would be a public accessable Memberlist which only shows ClanMembers, maybe visualized on which suqads they are and what ranks they have.

The default Memberlist is nice to, and I did some modifieing of the userlist v1.2 Plugin to show users in specifiec groups which are filter per querystring, so that I could show Clanmembers - but it allways looks like the usuall userlist, just with a view less Members on it. And because of cutting out the email adress row etc.. its looks pretty poor.

A Typical Memberlist would be very nice I think
