I uploaded it correctly and it shows up in the admin/plugins. I installed it, and went to the plugins panel and filled it in. Then went to menus page and added it in the menu but it doesn't show up on the front page.

I had created a custom donate menu when I 1st installed e107 and I was looking to have something a little easier to manage, but I can't seem to make it appear. Is having my original custom menu causing a conflict? I have tried adding it to different columns and still no luck.

Do you have anything in the 'button image' box ?

Try positioning it just above your chatbox.

Really odd, as the no javascript fallback is working

Can you check that you do not have two 'paypal' entries in the menus section, one might be left over from before.

If not, please try un-installing the plugin, then re-installing.

I deleted my original Donate custom menu that I made a couple years ago. I uninstalled your plugin and I still see a "donate" in the inactive menus to select. I tried clearing the cache, but that didn't do anything either. I'm not sure where this"donate" is from and I can't remove it.

It seems I have a few inactive menus that I no longer have plugins for either.......

Is there a way to clean this list?

I had something similar happen, it was a bug from a previous version of 0.7 ( 0.7.5 I think ) where it did not remove the menu entries.

To fix it you need launch phpMyAdmin, then find the table called e107_menus and you should see the entries.

Just delete the ones that you do not want.

If a plugin still exists and its menu entry is deleted, it will get automatically recreated.

Yup this worked. The problem was that the ZIP file was packaged incorrectly and when it installed the menus path was two folders in. The plugin does not work like that so I had to reinstall but because the donate_menu was already in the database it never got updated with the new path. Deleting it and going to the Menus applet reinstalled the menu with the correct path.

Maybe there should be a note on e107Coders site or maybe replace the package with an updated one.

Thanks for the info in this post and thanks for the plugin... I am very thrilled to be able to use it.

All the best
