Guest Hi,
Is there a way to display the number of entries in the guestbook?

This is how we are using it - Food Producers Pledge

I'd like to show people at a glance how many have signed it.

thanks

Shelley

Very cool adaptation of the Guestbook

The answer is yes you can, and a total count already exists in the code since its needed for the paging at the bottom.

$guestbook_total = $sql -> db_Count("guestbook", "(*)");

However this is quite low down in the code and you may want to put the number of entries up top.

If so just copy/cut and paste it higher up the code, and then you can add to the form, say above the sign button

$text .= "There are $guestbook_total pledges - ".GB_LAN_SIGN." etc etc

Hope this makes sense, if not let me know
