I'm stumped. I have four CoD4 servers listed. Three of them list just fine, but one does not. I've even that server's info into the testing link here and it shows up fine. I've noted the Query and Server ports on the success report and put those into my server's info, but it still won't show up.

I just found out that the ones that work are hosted by gameservers.com and the other is nfoservers.com.

Any known issues with that hoste?

are you sure you re-set the query port?

It's working fine on my viewer

66.150.214.169:28930 (! qport 28930)

So easily done

I believe I did reset it. I got the server to work using the test area here on greycube.com, but it still won't work on our site http://www.notyouraverage.com/

Here are the images from what the admin info looks like if that helps at all.

http://www.notyouraverage.com/lgsl-advanced.jpg

I've re-added it several times and let it find the query port each time. That one server is the only one that doesn't work.

Two other things I've tried is to update that $lgsl_config['url_path'] in the config file to be specific (as you pointed out in another post). I've also put all the servers into one zone, and that still didn't change anything.

It's just really weird that this server doesn't show up from our site, but it does from the greycube test area page, DOH!

OK. Which one isn't working? They all work on my LGSL

have you edited the lgsl_config.php

and put your URL in the last bit at the foot of the page

Yes, I just saw that other thread with your reply and tried that too. This is just weird.

Well, this is starting to piss me off. It works on your site, it works using the test link here, but it will NOT work from our site. I've put it in it's own zone, and in a zone with two others, and still no change.

I've even changed these
$lgsl_config['retry_offline'] = 1; // 1 will quickly re-query offline servers
$lgsl_config['timeout'] = 1; // 1 will increase the query timeout

and still no change.

One thing I did notice

when you click to expand server view its says on all the others

type: callofduty4
game:Call of Duty 4

but on the one not working it says

type: callofduty4
game: callofduty4

..a clue?

try creating another images folder called 'callofduty4'

But it's not even pulling the server name, so it doesn't seem to be connecting to the server at all. If it just told me "Image Not Found" that would make sense. I'll give it a shot anyway.

Well, the folder is already called "callofduty4", and the status is still "NO RESPONSE" while the others are "ONLINE"

heh-heh I know, I know....but look...

Until Rich or someone else explains it to me, all I know is, it once happened to me and it was simply because of badly named folders - it even refused to get the server info.

Just so you know - my folders are by default

maps/callofduty4/Call_of_Duty_4
maps/sof2/sof2mp

I can still get both of your servers on my LGSL..I'll put them up on my site temporarily for you ( a day or two)

Keep trying :d

Ugh! Didn't seem to help.

I now have two folders for images (with identical images in them).

lgsl_files/maps/callofduty4/callofduty4 (the new one)
lgsl_files/maps/callofduty4/call_of_duty_4 (the original one)

I had one more thought (don't know why I didn't think of it before), but the port for this server is not the standard for CoD4, so I've asked my server admin to open it up. I'll let you know if that is what makes the difference.

w00t! It was the port not being open. Now that the port is open, all is good.
