Have recently converted my website to Joomla! 1.5 and LGSL 4.9. Running into a lot of "Changing Map or Server Offline" with both the UT2K4 and UT3. Is the information still cached locally or is it live 100%? The UT3 is the most inconsistent. As I am typing I know that the server is running a different map but it is not displayed through LGSL. Any advice?

it should be cached in your mysql database. change the cache time in the config to suit your needs.

also, i have noticed a HUGE glitch on your site. every time i go to that link, it makes me download ALL the ut2004 maps. that is a lot of bandwidth that is being wasted. you might want to find a fix

Well this is a dumb question... How do I stop this from happening? The download of the map images that is. How can you tell that this is happening also? Is this something that is an issue with LGSL or the other images that are displayed?

See if I can narrow down what the problem actually is before I can figure out what to do about it. ha!

Thanks for taking the time to look.

Seems like there are a lot of Joomla 1.5 issues. I did not have any real problem with installing the software itself, only with displaying items. Has there been any info back?

Hello,

i'm running also Joomla 1.5 and sometimes have a UT3 server in my status (i have an multi-game-server where i can change the games...) and i have no problems with the display.
The downloading of the maps maybe an permission-problem on the ftp-site or an configuration-setting within Joomla or Webserver.

On your site http://ur.clanservers.com i can't get the info of your server when i click onto one picture.
Maybe the url is wrong: http://ur.clanservers.com/index.php/component/lgsl/2

Hey Scorp, enjoying the summer heat yet? LOL

Your issue is probably the same thing I had with http://www.notyouraverage.com

The port 6500 is most likely not open on your ISP. Ask them to open it and I'll bet that takes care of it.

Do we have any more information on why the files are being downloaded each time the browser is opened? It was much more noticeable looking at it using IE7 rather than with Firefox.

One other thing I found out is that when you setup the mod, you need to make sure it is only active with the mainmenu in Joomla. Trying to have it active with all menu selections causes errors that prevent other pages from loading.

Something is not right, the page is just going blank when I go on the details and try to view the list.

Its probably throwing an error, but you dont see anything with error reporting off.

Please try uninstalling LGSL, and installing the latest version. If you still get the same problem let me know.
