Hi!

I'm wondering if there's any suitable host for LGSL that doesn't block outgoing ports, which is the main problem when querying gameservers.

Any suggestions?

Edit:

The webhost list will update as time passes.

Free host:

000webhost.com - fail
x10hosting.com - fail (worked before their last PHP update. fwrite disabled?)
110mb.com - fail
1stfreehosting.com - fail
50webs.com - fail (Obviously no PHP enabled)
agilityhoster.com - ? (Register failiure - (0x10) There is a problem at the moment! Please try again later.)

Paidhost:

3ix.org - fail
gameservers.com - works
xgservers.co.uk - works
Freehostia.com - works (paid package)
Proclanhosting.com - works

currently i´m hosting the query script at home, but that´s no ultimate solution, so yeah a nice list (especialy free hosts^^) is indeed a good idea!

Sorry for bumping but it's still a valid topic for many, as well for me yet.

I've confirmed that "XG Servers" (www.xgservers.co.uk) works just fine with LGSL along with other scipts requiring outgoing connections. I think sticking this thread may find useful for many with the blocking ports issue if "Rich" finds it that way.

Edit:

Also, from what i know gameservers.com doesn't provide webhosts without purchasing a gameserver of theirs, what if the gameservers isn't being hosted by gameservers?

Guest I use Proclanhosting.com and haven't had any problems with ports being blocked.

yittle.net is a good host. All I had to do was ask him to open the ports for my games up to work with LGSL and he did it no problem.
