Strange SQL error
Goaty
Sat Jan 10 2009, 12:21PM
Guest Hiya,

I've just upgraded to LGSL 5.0 on a Joomla 1.5.8 install and I now get a strange error message the first time anyone connects to the site:

Table 'jkhgfvcb_phpbb3.jos_lgsl' doesn't exist

On a browser refresh, the page loads just fine, LGSL and all. We do have a database called phpbb3, but there is absolutely no reason why LGSL should be trying to use it, as the Joomla DB is something completely different. I've had a look through the LGSL files in componants/com_lgsl/ but I can't find a php error which would bring up "doesn't exist" errors or event die ().

Any ideas?

Thanks,

For Joomla, LGSL assumes that there is currently an open connection to the joomla database. The phpbb addon is obviously connecting to its own database, confusing LGSL.

Try editing the lgsl_config.php, and in the SQL section, put in your Joomla database details, then LGSL should re-connect to it.
