First I would like to thank you for a great plugin, it is the reason I choose e107 for my cms,

I have a server on a home computer and I got dynamic ip at home.

So I use a noip service to get a static link to the server.

I want to use xfire links to start cod4 but it seems xfire only starts the game if it's the ip in the link, not working with hostname.

So my question is how do I change the script so it shows ip instead of hostname?

I'll give you clue:

$ip = gethostbyname('www.example.com');

echo $ip;

Edit the lgsl_protocol.php and find:

  function lgsl_software_link($type, $ip, $c_port, $q_port, $s_port)
  {
    $lgsl_software_link = array(

And change it to:

  function lgsl_software_link($type, $ip, $c_port, $q_port, $s_port)
  {
    $ip = gethostbyname($ip);
    $lgsl_software_link = array(

I will add a config option for this in the next version.

Thank you, worked great for the links. Is it possible to change the link name also? Probably something simple like this one but I have no idea where to look.

  $lgsl_config['public_add']    = 2;
  $lgsl_config['host_to_ip']    = 1;

?s=add / "halflife"

how fixed it ? i can add two or more servers, example:

add 213.191.14.71:27015
add ekb-new.servecounterstrike.com:27015 - 213.191.14.71:27015
add *******.servecounterstrike.com:27015 - 213.191.14.71:27015
add *******.servecounterstrike.com:27015 - 213.191.14.71:27015
add *******.servecounterstrike.com:27015 - 213.191.14.71:27015

ALL SERVERS HAS BEEN ADDED

P.S.
 $lgsl_config['host_to_ip']

i want it in 5.1 *LOL*

The option just shows hostnames as IPs, it is not intended to block hostnames that point to the same place.

But just for you, here is a modified add page:
- link removed -

Is there a reason for your obsession with 5.1 ?

i use lgsl only for (cs 1.6) - i don't wanna again edit lgsl and i add some addition

and again problem (sorry)
v5.1 & v5.6

  • ?s=add
    Type: halflife
    Address: ekb-new.servecounterstrike.com:27015 (look i add port)
    Connection Port: 27015

/lgsl/ or index.php page
ekb-new.servecounterstrike.com:27015:27015

Interesting, I would expect the server to not respond if you put the port in the address, but PHP actually uses it. Will make a fix for it and get back to you.

As for 5.1 to 5.6, you only need to update the lgsl_class.php and lgsl_protocol.php, it should not take long to re-do any changes to those files. CS 1.6 support is much better in 5.6
